Baby cake corn dog pop's

A friend of mine gave me a baby cakes pop maker that she was given for Christmas because she does not bake. It didn't have any instructions and I make my cake Pop's by hand. I love pintrest and decided to look up thing to make in it other than cake pop's. the very first thing I come across was corn dogs.  Unfortunately there is no web site attached so I can't give credit to whom ever posted or the original person whom put up the directions. Anyways I want to share with you the results of what I did.
I don't even know the "proper" amounts for batter to be placed in each well. So here is what happened on my first try.

I could not turn them over so I let the cook for a while longer that way. I had  to flip the pop maker on to its side over a plate and turn them out that way. The hot dogs came out of a few but most of them the edges came off.

Next I only put a little batter on the bottom and placed the cut hot dog in the well and topped with a small amount of batter. This worked but you can still easily over fill the wells. I even placed a piece of hot dog in one then put the mix over it. That was a little messy and harder to work with.

Here is the final product. My kids did not even want to share with me. I think I might of got six.

All you need is a Jiffy corn bread mix and hot dogs. We will be doing this again. With better results I'm sure.

Have a great day!
